AUDIO BASICALLY REQUIRED, HEADPHONES RECOMMENDED

My entry for Ludum Dare 50, with the theme 'Delay the Inevitable'.

The Earth is about to be destroyed, and you have elected to stay behind to make sure that the escape shuttles can make it to  the gold-plated Invincible  Space Station. Rotate around the earth, shooting down asteroids in  a way that's probably really familiar if you're a very old person like  me.

Try not to  shoot the escaping shuttles, and  go for a high score!

CONTROLS:

Arrow keys/A or  D - Move left/right  around the Earth

Spacebar -  Shoot

Down arrow/S key - Apply the brakes if you're flying too fast in one direction
